Support Between Sessions

Companion Care

The steadiness you build in a session doesn’t have to fade before the next one. Companion Care is a gentle, private way to feel supported between appointments — on your own schedule, in your own words, even on the days you don’t feel like talking. It’s something the practice is building now, and we’d be glad to tell you more.

A steadier space between appointments

Therapy happens in the hour you spend together — but the hard moments rarely keep to that schedule. Companion Care is designed to sit alongside your care: a calm, private space to check in with yourself, remember what you and your clinician are working toward, and steady yourself when things feel heavy, day or night.

It’s thoughtfully designed, private by default, and always pointed back to the plan you set with your clinician — never a replacement for the person you see. It’s offered in English and Spanish, like everything else here.

A preview of what we’re building

See how it stands beside you

Companion Care lives on your phone, in the space between sessions — always pointing back to the plan you set with your clinician. Here’s the idea we’re shaping.

A gentle daily check-in — in your words, or just a tap.

From your last session

You and your clinician set a small step: notice one moment of calm each day.

Caught the quiet before everyone else woke up.

That counts. Want to bring it to Thursday’s session?

Tied to the plan you set together with your clinician.

It’s late, and things feel heavy.

Steady support on the hard nights — never a substitute for real, human help.

How it helps

Support between sessions

A gentle check-in whenever you need one — not only every other week. The care continues in the space between appointments.

In your words — or without them

Reach out in writing, on your own time. Support that meets you where you are, even when you’re not ready to say much out loud.

Always tied to your care

It points back to the plan you and your clinician set together, and to real human support. It works with your care, never in place of it.

What Companion Care is — and isn’t

  • It’s a supportive companion — not therapy, and not a diagnosis.
  • It works alongside your sessions. It doesn’t replace time with your clinician.
  • It is not a crisis service. If you’re in crisis, the numbers below reach real help right now.
