Individual therapy at Quez Therapeutic Solutions is one-on-one time built around what's actually going on in your life right now — anxiety, depression, a hard transition, ongoing stress, or a dip in self-esteem that's been hard to shake.
We work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused approach, led by a licensed clinician (LISW-S). In practice, that means sessions aren't just talking in circles about the problem — they're about noticing the thought patterns and habits that keep it going, and building small, workable changes you can actually carry into your week.
Every person arrives with a different story, so every plan looks a little different. Some clients want a structured, skills-based approach from the first session; others need room to talk before the work of change can start. We shape the pace and the focus around what's actually useful to you, not a fixed script.
Sessions are available for adults and teens (ages 7 and above), in person at the Stow office or by secure teletherapy anywhere in Ohio, in English or Spanish. Many clients start with weekly sessions and adjust frequency as things stabilize.
There's no single "right" reason to start individual therapy. Some people come in during a crisis; many more come in because something has been quietly wearing them down for a while and they want a second, clear-headed perspective on it. Either reason is enough.
